Self-Love for Women (Spring 2025)
Support & Accountability Group
Connect with others while you explore and grow in your self-love.
You speak and think kindly about others but struggle to do the same for yourself.
You hold expectations for yourself that you don’t hold for anyone else and when you don’t meet those expectations, the inner critic comes out with a vengeance.
Maybe you consistently put others’ needs before your own in order to prove your worth.
Maybe you have a hard time setting or sticking to your boundaries with others because you worry that your boundaries will push them away or make them angry with you.
You know you need to be kinder to yourself and treat yourself as well as you treat others but you’re not sure where to begin.
You know there’s room to improve your relationship with yourself but you’re not sure how.
If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone and you’re in the right place.
Join me and a small group of women to gain support and accountability on your self-love journey.
Using my new book Self-Love Journal for Women to guide discussions, we will:
Support one another and offer compassionate feedback
Hold each other accountable for working through the journal and putting what you learn into action
Explore and grow in your self-love
What?
This group will offer a small group of your peers to share with, listen to, and learn from as we use Self-Love Journal for Women to help guide our discussions.
Each week will follow the themes that are found in each section of the journal.
The goal of this group is for you to gain support to help you more confidently be yourself by breaking free from fears and worries, quiet the inner critic to speak more kindly to yourself, give yourself permission to prioritize your own wants and needs, and explore and grow your self-love in other ways.

New Helpers Haven (Fall 2024)
Groups for those new to the mental health profession
Connect with others who can share in the struggles and triumphs.
The mental health field is rewarding and meaningful work. The connections you make with clients. Being able to help clients through some of the toughest moments of their lives. Witnessing their progress and growth. There’s nothing quite like it.
And it can also be some of the most challenging work you’ll do both personally and professionally.
It can be draining. It requires strong boundaries, proper self-care, and a healthy support system.
When you don’t have a healthy support system of others who understand the field and the struggles and triumphs that come with it, it can be very isolating.
Because of all of this, as a mental health professional myself, I continue to see my own therapist and I have participated in various support groups.
And I believe it’s important that everyone in the field do their own internal work and seek help in whatever way works for them - whether that’s individual therapy, support groups, something else, or all of the above.
New Helpers Haven aims to do just that!
New Helpers Haven is for those who are new to the field with groups for interns, training licensees, and newly licensed professionals to:
Support and connect with each other
Explore topics and unique challenges that commonly come up for new helpers (hello, impostor syndrome!)
Share about and build healthy self-care and work-life balance habits
Talk about the things you don’t or didn’t talk about in grad school
These groups are a great option to get support from peers who are not connected to your internship, training sites, or grad school classes.
Join me, my intern Lindsay, and a small group of your peers to gain support and connection on your journey to joining our amazing, challenging, rewarding field of work.
