Reading is Self-Care (RISC) Book Club
Introducing RISC Book Club (Online)!
RISC will focus on reading and discussing books that aim to benefit your mental health and personal growth. From authors like Glennon Doyle and Brene Brown to books about boundaries and self-compassion, we will cover a wide range of mental health, wellness, and self-care topics.
RISC may be for you if you:
Like to read but have difficulty making the time to do it.
Have piles (and piles and piles) of books on your shelf or your Amazon wish list that are just waiting to be read (I hear ya!).
Feel like you would enjoy a supportive, engaging, and fun group where you can discuss these books.
Want to make the time to read more and feel like a book club would help keep you accountable.
Know that you need to make time for more self-care in your life, but you’re just not sure how (yet).
RISC may not be for you if you:
Do not enjoy engaging in open conversations with others who may have different opinions or views than you.
Meetings will occur every 8 weeks Thursday from 9:00 - 10:00 am.
Next meeting is December 30th.
Link for meeting will be sent to you the week of the meeting.
Please consider using the affiliate link by clicking on the photo of the book(s). This will add no cost to your purchase but may provide a small compensation to me.
The free RISC membership includes:
Accountability for staying on top of your reading goals
Open group meets once per month to discuss the current book with a licensed therapist (that’s me!). Each group meeting limited to 8 members, sign up today!
Although RISC is led by a licensed mental health therapist, this is not therapy and not meant to replace other mental health / wellness treatment. This is meant to be used as an addition to enhance your mental health care. Because this is not therapy, you can live anywhere to participate in this book club.
