Somatic Skills, for the win!
If you’re experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, chronic stress, or trauma and have any interest in learning about somatic skills/techniques and how they can be useful for you, then this is the group for you!
When you join this group, you’ll gain support to:
Learn about what the heck somatic work actually means and why it’s so important
Take away practical somatic skills you can start using right away
Explore your symptoms in a new way by using your body as a resource for healing
Become more connected to yourself and your body
utilize new somatic skills or use skills you may already have but have struggled to put into practice

What?
In a small group of your peers, this group will offer a safe space to learn about and practice somatic skills that aim to regulate your nervous system, manage symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma, and increase the connection, trust, and relationship you have with your body.
You may find this group beneficial if you are experiencing anxiety, low self-worth, stress, perfectionism, people pleasing, poor body image, negative self-talk, and have a history of trauma.
Who?
This group is for young adult women (20s - 30s) who live in Wisconsin, Florida, Utah, or Vermont.
People with any amount of somatic knowledge are welcome to join. Whether you’re a beginner or have a lot of knowledge coming into the group, you can still gain something from participating in this group experience.
*Current and past clients are welcome to participate.
When?
Tuesdays 8:30 - 9:30 am CT
July 15th - August 19th, 2025
*May change to Thursdays, July 17th - August 21st
Plus, one intake session prior to the start of group for anyone who is not a current or past client.
Where?
Virtual meetings via secure, HIPAA-compliant Simple Practice
Cost:
Anthem/BCBS, Advocate Aurora, CCHP, Dean, UMR, or United Healthcare insurance accepted or self-pay $50/session ($75 for intake session).
Fee includes a safe space to share, a positive support network, professional feedback and support, and lifetime access to an exclusive collection of a ton of resources.
How do I sign up?
Step 1… Complete the Registration Form below. I will send you the necessary paperwork to be completed prior to the first meeting.
Step 2… You and I will meet one time prior to the start of the group to get acquainted and do a basic assessment.
Step 3… Find a private space with a good internet connection. This can be your room, office, basement, car, or even your bathroom! I’ll send you a link for our sessions prior to the first meeting.
Step 4… Join the Simple Practice session at 8:30 am CT, and you’ll be connected!
